I like the change in the cleats on the under side much better. The old style was painful (literally!) to put down and pick up but this design is much better. Also the mat seems more flexible. I've only had it for about a month but so far it is superior to the last chair mats I've used.

The price of a chair mat is rediculious. Plan ahead and buy one with a coupon better yet buy one with a lifetime replacement warranty as you will use it. Rubbermaid use to make them.

This is the third mat purchased in recent years. Hope this one holds up. All others have cracked and do not wear very good. Once they get holes you cannot move a swivel chair around on it.
