I do not recommend this mat to anyone.

I am very sorry I purchased this chair mat. My old cracked mat had more support than this new chair mat. I wish I could return this mat and purchase another mat that was perhaps thicker more substantial. One that will not allow the wheels of my chair to sink into the mat.

Doesn't Work

We just installed good quality home carpeting. The mat slides as the chair is rolled. I ended up putting roofing nails through the mat and carpet into the wood sub-floor. There are deep dents in the mat where my chair wheels have been. I suspect in time the mat will break at the nail points or where my chair wheels have dented it.

It is smaller than I thought

This mat is smaller than I thought to cover my sitting area. It has an adequate thickness and best use on carpet floor. The pricing is pretty competitive. They should have made another size bigger so consumer can choose.

So Far So Good

I needed a chair mat for my home office to protect my carpet. Staples had this mat on sale for a very good price and I figured I would give it a try. Worst case scenario is it doesn't work and I have to take it back. I've owned it for about a month now and it still functions properly. It only comes in one size so I was a little concerned about it fitting where I needed it but once I placed it where I wanted it it fits just fine. My only other concern is the thickness (or lack thereof) of the mat. It is rather thin and if my chair remains in one position for an extended period of time it leaves indentations in the mat. They eventually "come out" and the mat reforms its shape but I do wonder if the indentations will eventually tear through. For the price I paid if the mat lasts a year I will be satisfied but only time will tell. As my headline states "So Far So Good."

I like the size but it's seemed to be softer I can see my roller indentations and I don't weigh much. I just hope it last my last one bought at Staples lasted me a long time until it cracked. When I roll my chair it seems to be a little harder due to the softer product it's made of.

In retrospect I would of bought the rectangular shape the in I bought with the "lip" to slide under the desk is awkward. Would of preferred full carpet coverage
