Good size but not thick. The weight from the chair and me cause indentations in the mat so the chair does not move as easily as it could. Invest in the thicker more rigid mat if you have the money.

The instructions say not to use it on thick carpet with a pad. However I couldn't find anything that would work better so this is what I bought. So far it is working fine. It does get indents but they come out after I leave my chair.

I received the mat and was very very disappointed. I was not like my old one. My old one was thicker and more sturdy. Yours was very flimsy and very hard for the chair to roll on. I am very displeased to say the least.

This mat was used to replace an old mat that was cracking. A little small compaired to my old one but the price was right. I bought 2 needed one for another computer area. It was on sale for 1/2 price. Can't beat that
