This chair mat is very stiff and so you would think it would be easy to roll your chair on but it is not. I have to forcibly push the chair with my feet to move it and it is not easy. I would not recommend this mat for carpet. I would also not recommend this mat for hard floors either because it has the pin points on the back side to keep it secured to the carpet. They may scratch your floor.

I bought it because chair was on carpeting and wheels would sink in. The chair mat is just as bad or worse by chair now sinks into the Mat..Cra;
