it preserves my carpet. easy to slide my chair on. stays in place.is unobtrusive. I had to notch it to fit my setup & it cut easily.

It doesn't lay as flat as I would like. The ribs underneath don't dig in like I would like them to so it's a bumpy ride.

Flexible 'gripper' teeth not overly sharp

flexible plastic easy to place and adjust 'gripper' teeth are not overly sharp (some cut right through your hands) time will tell if it has the structural integrity to hold up under the weight and heavy use it will get.
