This chair mat works fairly well but the wheels on my chair leave dents making it difficult to roll the chair around. My carpet is very low pile and our other chair mat holds up better.

The mat could be a little thicker but then I bought the low end mat because that’s all I needed. Would not recommend this mat for heavy use.

All chair mats replaced after new carpet was installed. Purchased 2 different brands one was the Staples brand. The Staples chair mat had dents in it within a week to 10 days of use where the chair wheels normally rest when the chair is in use. We tested both brands for about 2-3 weeks and purchased about 8 more of the other brand since they seemed to hold up better. Used in an office setting where employees are at their desks for 8 hours a day. Staples brand would be great for a home office that gets used up to 3 hours a day.
