This mat doesn't slide on my carpet. Only problem my chair sits on the mat in the same place and causes indentations in the mat into the carpet. When I want to move the chair the indentations stop the chair from moving

My desk chair was leaving indentations in my carpet. Therefore I needed the mat to protect my carpet. It does serve the purpose although I would have preferred one a bit thicker. This mat does the purpose but it also is not thick enough to prevent indentation in the mat itself. One just a bit thicker would prevent any indentations. The indentations cause it to be harder to move the desk chair.

So far working ok. May be a little thin so time and use will tell the story. Used to buy a more expensive mat from American Floor Mats which had a "lifetime guarantee" but found that they fell apart after a year of use and they didn't make good or even respond to my letters and photos of the mat having torn apart so decided to try Staples at a less expensive price and seeing if I get a better result. Have had it about two weeks and so far it's doing OK.

I am very happy with my new carpet chair mat. I had one before but after many years it finally wore out. If this one eventually wears out I will replace it with the same thing. It is the perfect size for me.
