I'm honestly appalled at the high cost of chair mats in general. That said this mat is honestly too thin for my use but I knew that to begin with and refused to spend more for a chair mat. It's a fine chair mat for what it is but used on a medium pile carpet like I have it's going to get noticeable dimples that make it a little hard to roll the chair. But since it's not meant for medium pile carpet I can't really hold that against the product. I can hold the general price of chair mats against the industry though. *shakes fist*

The shape of the chair mat fits my desk space perfectly. The little grippers on the underside keep it from sliding on my carpet. My chair rolls smoothly. I’m happy.
