It is not as thick as I would like. My office chair is heavy and with my weight the chair is hard to roll because of the indentations it makes in the pad. The pad is good if you don't have a heavy chair.

The mat is as described and appears to be of good quality. It easily flattened out from the roll form in which shipped. Until it has been used for a long while it is impossible to know whether it will dent break or crack from chair wheels rolling on it.
