Very good so far however if it is like previous mats it will start cracking after the first year and need replacement. Thought these were limited guaranteed?

Mat woulld be much better if made of thicker more ridged plastic. Don't like the dimples in the mat that make it hard to roll around or change position.

The reason I am giving a 1 star is because the product does not work with thick pad or carpet. After 1 hour of use I had indents in the mat. This wouldn't allow the chair to roll. So I will be taking this mat back and finding something different. They will probably be great with thinner and stiffer carpet.

This is a good mat and the price was right. But even on low plush carpeting it is a bit too soft. after sitting a while in one place the wheels tend to sink into the grooves making it harder to push away from the desk. I probably should have gotten a harder surfaced mat to place under my desk chair.

Not enough selection in stores

I wanted something thicker (stiffer) but there was very limited selection in any Staples store I went to so I settled for this one. It was the only one that would fit in my area. The thivker ones were all too large or the wrong shape. It works OK to protect the carpet but it's hard to roll the chair over it.
