Wheels of office chair sink in to the soft plastic a little. It is better than trying to roll the chair around on the carpet without the mat.

It's a basic design. It does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to transport unrolls flat stays in place and makes it twenty times easier to roll my chair back and forth which is what I was looking for.

I'd looked at many others hoping for a sale. But $40 was the "going rate." Much to my delight this mat cost [$] and it works as well as the one we purchased some years ago for much more than that.
