Inexpensive solution to problem

Be careful handling this product. The same grippers you love to hold it in place on the carpeting will cut your finger while installing. I was warned by the checkout clerk ...... thankfully.

Perfect chair mat for our office

This mat protects our carpet under the office chair which has 5 wheels. This is our second purchase the first mat lasted several years so the quality is very good.

I purchased this my second chair mat. They do last quite a long while. They are a bit harder than I originally thought but my desk chair moves effortlessly as I change positions at my desk. If you're so inclined to purchase one make sure you pay attention to the label attached to the mat: some are made for hardwood others for different types of carpet pile. The right style for the carpet you have on your floor will make a difference in the wear factor. I also believe the wheels affixed to your chair legs will affect the lifespan. The harder wheels will definitely wear the mat faster.

Verified Purchase:Yes
This floor mat is thinner and smaller than I expected it to to be. Chair casters leave an imprint and there is not a lot of room for chair movement. Only time will tell whether or not the mat will hold up to daily wear. I am not hopeful that it will.
