Not thick enough...

I bought this for my home office. I was surprised that it was not very thick. I am concerned that this will crack in very little time. But we will see how long this will last...

Staples Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip

This chair mat in our home is doing just we expected it to do. We just had new carpeting installed and wanted to protect it - along with making it easier for the computer chair to be able to move back and forth easily. The Chair Mat has little tabs on the bottom which allow it to keep in place and not shift around. Our wheeled chair easily glides over the mat - even while we're sitting in the chair - and allows us to move closer to the computer and back again in very easy motions. I would recommend this item to anyone who has carpeting near the desk where the computer is located.

This mat is fine for what I need it for to keep my office chair running smooth and protect my rug. It is not very thick plastic so I’ll be interested to see how many years it will last but because of the price I could buy three before I would pay the price of the more expensive priced thicker mats so that’s worth it to me!

Well not lot to say about a chair mat but it does what it is intended to do it sticks on carpet flat not curling up on edges looks good oh and seems to support my son who weighs 280 or so pounds ok-chair wheels never went though it (laugh). Look get a few years out of it before wears out. Get it if your old mat is worn out.
