The carpet chair mat was not up to my expectations. It moves each time I move my chair. It does not stay in place so I have to move it back each day.

Rodeo Chair Tamed by Chairmat

We had carpet squares put in our new offices abd my chair stuck to one spot like velcro. It flipped me sideways and I hiy my head on the metal table going down. With this new chairmat I feel safe and have no more problems with my wheels getting stopped by the carpet and I won't have to go take riding lessons to keep from getting thrown under my desk by an unruly chair with an attitude. I think everyone who has a chair that has qualified foir the rodeo ought to get one or two for their desk area and a spare just in case.

Meets the Need!

I was in need of a new chair mat after the previous one I was using fell apart. After getting an E Mail from Staples I went out to the local Staples Store to see what they had in stock. With immediate help from a store employee I was directed to the office furniture area of the store. There was a wide selection of styles after reviewing the different styles I made the above selection. Good Value for the price easy to get into the store very easy to check out and get on with the days business. Only slight draw back is that this mat is a little bit smaller then my previous one but is working just fine.

Mat does not work well for short shag carpet

The item was too thin. Mat does not work well for short shag carpet. The wheels of chair still sank into the mat causing it hard to move the chair around. The mat needs to be thicker or not so soft that wheels of chair sink into it causing Indentations in mat.
