If your chair stays in one position for a while you need an extra 'shove' to get the wheels moving again. I would still probably recommend it with that caveat in mind

I bought this mat to fit under my desk which is in a fairly small space. I was worried that I'd have trouble making the mat fit but this one fit perfectly. My chair had no problem rolling gently across the mat unlike how it didn't roll across the carpet that is now under the mat. I also like that the mat is clear and doesn't detract from my wonderful carpet. The other nice thing about this mat is that I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. It was nicely priced in my budget. I would recommend this mat to anyone looking for one especially in a restrictive space.

I needed a mat for underneath my desk and I must say it covers well. It allows for my chair to roll smoothly under the desk as far as I need to go.

It seems to be a great product...but I will withhold final judgment until I see how long it takes before it starts to crack and discolor as all chair mats eventually do.
