Flexing Out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I flexed out my muscles, so much trying to get this glob of glue out. I've had positive experiences in the past with other Flex Glue items, but this time it was more work than it was worth. The main project that I got it for was impossible to do with it. I needed a nice flowing constancy, but it was very hard to get it out. When I originally went to use it I needed to cut off the plastic top. It was pretty thick, so I had to use a knife with a serrated edge to open it. It cut open easily enough with the right tool. I made sure that it was a nice round and well opened before putting on the screw cap that you squeezy the glue out of. The cap is nice it has some premeasured circumference areas that you could use for an ideal flow. Unfortunately that did not come in handy for a hard to get out glob of glue. I did however have another very small wood project that required a little glue that I used some for. It did hold well for that repair. The glue is said to work under water, be mildew and UV resistant, paintable, solvent free, VOC compliant, and will not shrink or crack. On another note it didn't work that well for me and it can cause cancer and reproductive harm. I still like Flex Glue. I've had other positive experiences with a different sealer of theirs. Maybe I'll give this one a try again with a different tube, but so far I'm not impressed.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this flex product on a bunch of projects and it has worked well. I have sealed gutters; sealed windows; fixed a leak in a skylight; attached a wood medallion to a door trim; and a couple of other things. It is thick coming out of the tube but it spreads nicely and is crystal clear. It sets and dries pretty quick as well.

Flex Glue is amazing!

Can not believe how well it works. The latest was a damp window crack and it dried perfectly clear and tacked to the concrete as well as the vinyl window. This is truly a great product!

Flex Glue worked as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a couple of tests with my Flex Glue adhesive just to see if it worked as advertised. I used the Flex Glue to glue four ornamental rocks together, pyramid style. The glue held the stones together and the adhesive remains flexible.
I then glued two pieces of cedar lumber together, without clamping. 48 hours later, I cannot pull the pieces of lumber apart.
Finally, I took a small plastic pail and drilled a 1/4” hole in the bottom of the bucket. I filled the bucket up with water. I took the caulking gun with the tube of Flex Glue in it and put the tube into the pail of water over top of the hole and squeezed the Flex Glue over the hole. It stopped the water from leaking out of the pail. Flex Glue really does work under water.

Works Great and fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how smooth and how fast the FLEX GLUE Pro Formula adhered to the edge of my wood surface. The 9 oz cartridge tube was easy to insert into my caulking gun, and easy to squeeze the glue, and with no strong order. The Flex Glue Pro Formula dries out clear, and truly seals well and works pretty fast. I recommend this FLEX GLUE Pro Formula because it works, and it is easy to use, and even works underwater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband laughed when I received this to review. A good laugh, though. He says he already uses it for our 5th wheel. It works so well to repair the roof and anything else that pops up. He says it's a must have in the rv world. It's a dependable product. Does as stated, and he can't recommend it enough. He is a master electrician and carpenter, so I highly value his opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the FLEX GLUE - 9 oz Cartridge Pro Formula - Clear, to use on a wood working project I had planned that would need to have a water tight seal. Before I got around to starting that project, I’d noticed that the drivers door on my truck was sagging and popping, due to a couple of stripped out bolt holes on one of the hinges. I’d seen the claims about how strong snd durable Flex Glue Clear was, and got the idea of using it to repair this, and man did it work out great. I removed the door and hinges and cleaned the surfaces, then applied the Flex Glue Clear to the back side of the affected hinge, then put the bolts back in and let it sit overnight. The next morning when I checked, it seemed to be pretty solid, so I put the door back on to see how it did. To my surprise, it held great and there was no longer any sagging or play in the door whatsoever, and it looked and worked like it had just been factory installed. That was almost a month ago and even with all the opening and closing, vibration from driving the truck, and through the elements outside, it still looks and works as good as new. I’ve already purchased more Flex Glue Clear and have several projects planned for its use because this adhesive has got to be the best thing ever invented since sliced bread!
