I have gotten this chair mat in the past. They are great to start but eventually start cracking where the wheels of the chair move over it. But so far - so good.

While it "looks" like it is better to have a chair mat without the "spiked points " that's not the case. Because the "points" on the bottom are not "spiked " the mat keeps moving all over the carpet and is a real pain in the neck. I would never purchase this type of mat again.

I paid extra for one that was supposed to be heavier and not dent. It's the same as the cheap ones. I'm going to have to buy a piece of hardboard and put rug tape on it because it's too irritating to keep trying to roll my chair out of the rut. It will keep the hardboard from mashing the carpet down I guess.

Be sure to take measurements under your desk prior to ordering this one. Other than its size this is an amazing chair mat! We had been purchasing the cheaper option and replacing them almost yearly. This one should last us a few years! Love that the edges are beveled for easy chair movements too.

This mat serves it's purpose. It was a little hard to unroll the way it was packaged rolled up. I was able to get it unrolled and laid it out for a couple of days to with a few weights to be able to put it on the floor under my desk chair. Now it is under my chair its fine and does the job. I have to be sure to move around my chair otherwise my chair will leave an indentation in the mat. It probably could stand to be a little thicker but otherwise it does the job.
