I thought carpet chair mats were the same but because it's hard for me to roll on I probably should have ordered an harder mat. I guess it depends on the thickness of the carpet.

The only thing I would change would be the thickness of the mat. My old one was thicker and the chair moved easier on it. I was impressed with the salesgirl and delivery of my mat. I would definitely recommend Staples and their service. I would also recommend the chair mat.

Short life lasts 6-9 months. Pricey.

We've tried various products; in thickness and cost. We even rotate the mat. Open to other products or suggestions.
