Staples #8-5/8 security envelopes

I have purchased these envelopes in the past twice. They sometimes have glue on the inside of the envelope not allowing for the insertion of the check until you slide your finger and release the sides of the envelope. This process slows down me getting my checks mailed out. The price for a box of envelopes is also high. I can purchase a box of window envelopes same quantity for $ 10.00 which are larger. I would think since this is a smaller envelope and security it should sell for maybe $15.00-$20.00 per box.

Too Much GLUE outside the seams!

Over all a good envelope for Payroll checks. Quite often there is glue beyond the seams this causes the envelope to stick together. Time consuming to open envelope before you can put a check in the envelope. I have complained about this problem for several years.

Poor manufacturing

Material is poor quality and the seams inside the envelope were stuck together causing a problem when trying to fit check inside. I will not buy again.

I use these envelopes on a weekly basis for payroll and other mailings. They are made of a high quality paper and work perfect for our checks we mail. I have compared prices from other competitors and Staples always seems to have the best price. With the price match you can't beat buying them form Staples. I have shopped years with Staples and will continue to do so. Their staff seem to know all the products and will direct you to something comparable if they do not have. On line orders are great. Always next day deliveries which can't be beat.
