Burning Hands

Why do my hands burn when I start with a new sponge? The package I purchased, all the sponges I had to toss out, they burnt my hands like pins were in my hand.

DO NOT BUY

This product is garbage. I have 2 packs of them and each sponge only last about a few days if that. We’ve had to put a little hair catcher thing in our kitchen sink to keep the sponge pieces from getting into our garbage disposal. We only use them for washing dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No longer real O-Cellos

I have used O-Cello sponges for 20 years. Then Scotch Brite bought them. Now they are terrible, just like Scotch Brite's other sponges. The spongy material disinigrates. With the old O-Cellos, that never happened. The scrubber would wear out first.

Do you even care?

If you would care about what the loyal consumers think, you just might make MORE profits than less by maintaining them. The other reviewers said it all. To have a sponge you've always used tear up so fast is disappointing. I use mine to wipe my sink and shower only so it makes no sense. You may think it's a smart move to change them, but you may pay adversely in the end.

Bad Quality. Disappointed.

I have been using this product for quite some time for the kitchen use. I usually like 3M products since they are well-known for their innovation and high quality. However, this item tear and fall apart easily after a few uses. Surprisingly, the same area. It is getting annoying and looking for the improvement. Thanks!

Different colors respond differently

I've noticed that different colored sponges feel different and last different amounts of time. For every yellow sponge I go through two green ones or pink ones. I thought this might just be my imagination so I have loosely kept track over the last six months and found it to be true. Green is the worst. If i could just buy all yellow I would do that. This is not so much a complaint as a question. Why does yellow last longer and feel different than the others?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Go To Tool for Cleaning and Wiping

Use mine mainly in dishwashing, cleaning counters, etc. Keep several in use and allow to completely dry before reusing. Disinfect them with Pinesol. Good cleaning action.

I've never experienced this with sponges before...They got disgusting after just a few uses....I tossed them and bought a different brand.
