I need this sturdy pressboard to provide support for sheet protected files. The fasteners are not needed.

I use these for my clients' individual medical charts - more substantial than regular file folders. Hard to find anything better for the use I have for them.

I like them for the price and durability but they are not the same size as the 5 pack of classification folder when placed in filing cabinet and tend to hide behind the 5 pack classification folders.

After going through a few really nice file folders and having them split down the middle I decided to give in and buy these .. it has made all the difference .. In real estate we lug these files all over and use them for along time throughout the transaction ... so I was very happy to discover these .. hated to spend the money but it was well worth it and cheaper in the end because I had to keep changing the others

I am a realtor and have being buying this folders for years to keep documents in order. They have the brackets so makes it easy for me to file.
