These are well worth the extra price particularly if these files will be used a lot and transported to and from different locations. Constantly going in and out of briefcases and office file cabinets breaks-down thin Manilla file folders but these pressboard files will tough it out and last dozens of years.

I prefer the folders whose metal fasteners are covered by a protective sheath so you don't give yourself a whopper of a paper cut. These do not have that but that's the only con.
