This mat protects the carpet under my work-at-home chair. I needs replacing about once every 5 years or so. It protects that carpet and lasts quite a long time.

It works! Especially good in small tight areas

Definitely worth the money for the extra thickness. Chair glides nicely and the size is perfect for moving around without slipping off the edge of the mat.

did not work well on heavy carpet that has knobs in it.... have ordered a solid piece of heavy plastic that will go on top of the Staples mat.....

too thin the chair digs into it and it won't last

For the price I was hoping this thicker chair mat would not dimple like my first one did but it does. But I will have to live with it since my old one is too cracked to continue using.
