This mat protects the carpet and stays steady and doesn't move when I roll my chair back and forth. I love that the small insert fits neatly under my desk. All in all I am quite pleased and would definitely recommend it.

Expected it to be a little more robust we'll see how it holds up.

Sucks...don't buy. Worst I have ever had. This was placed on top of a commercial tight weave carpet...sucks. Chair divited so bad it could not roll. Honestly the carpet was better than the mat. WASTED $$$.

The mat is okay but I will be returning it because I started worrying about tripping over the edge.
