This floor mat is fine. I have a chair with rollers and spend a lot of time rolling around the mat. Last one I had lasted five years before cracking

This floor mat provides a nice surface for our home office desk chair on low pile carpet. It creates a tidy delineation of the work space. The new desk chair we purchased with this work nicely and rolls smoothly on the mat.

My son's college is remote this year so he needed a new desk and chair. Didn't realize the chair would destroy the carpet since he is gaming into the night and sitting in the chair most of the day. This mat did the trick.

It's OK but I wish that Staples had a model that was completely rectangular rather than with the lip at one end.

We have a medium pile rug but would have gotten a different mat that gives more depth on the support.
