I'm worried about how well this will hold up. Only a couple of days and the impressions/divots from the chair wheels seem pretty significant. Delivery was fine. dimples that go into the carpet are far less hard and pointed than my previous mat. But the mat is much thinner than the previous one.

We actually got this to go under the desk chair my husband sits in to paint (he's an artist with Parkinson's). The extra large size accomodates his need to move both sideways and forward/back. Strong sturdy. Also the edges curve down into the carpet so they aren't a trip hazard.

The size is great but this mat is not made for a plush carpet. I just put mine down yesterday and I already have dents and divots. If you have a plush carpet find a different product.

On thinner carpet this is probably OK but on the thick carpet in my home office the plastic temporarily deforms and creates divots that my chair constantly falls back into.
