Good for protecting the rug

Works well on a non-carpet rug. Wanted an inexpensive way to prevent our chairs from wearing on the rug. This does well. It's not as thick as some I've seen and probably wouldn't work well on carpet but that isn't my use. Price was great.

I use the mat under my computer chair to protect the wood floor. The top layer of the varnish/shellac on the floor was starting to peel from years of the wheeled chair rolling back and forth over it. The mat is exactly what I was looking for.

Sorta soft but good 'n' slide-y

When first used it indented easily beneath chair rollers making for an uneven lumpy sliding surface. Eventually it evened out & worked fine.

The labels says that it is an economy mat for commercial carpeting as found in an office. If you try to use it on the type of carpeting found in a typical home the mat is too soft because the carpet is too thick. I am afraid that over time it will start to develop indentations from the chair wheels. It is good for saving a few dollars as the thicker mat was twice the price but you get what you pay for and need to match the mat with its intended use.

used for protection of carpet but it is too small and the next size is too big. Chair catches on edges too easily and product does not stay flat
