Purchased this mat to protect carpet. Office chair moves smoothly over the mat. Would definitely purchase again.

I live in an apartment with new carpeting I have 2 roller chairs which can run havoc on the surface of the carpet. This floor mat is working out so well the transparency is excellent (I've forgotten it's there) my chair rolls easily over the surface and I am confident there is no damage to the rug.

The mat came upright no fold or tube to unfurl. It is clear I can see my wood floor through it. It has absolutely no smell. These were some problems cheaper mats on line have. Very happy with it.

This pad is a replacement for an old worn one of the same type. That one has been in use for 6 years on a daily basis. Saves my carpet from excessive wear and tear.
