Scotch Brite is no longer synonymous with quality!

No longer a good quality product. Less than 2 weeks of light use and they are falling apart. Longtime customer and I'm very disappointed with the poor performance of this sponge. What happened?

Not as good as they used to be!

We have purchased these for years and generally really like them. The last few times we have purchased them, it seems like they have changed how they are making the sponge part. This is our third one where the holes in the sponge are very large; so much so that they interfere with how long it lasts and general usage.

Find a Different Sponge

These sponges used to be bigger and more durable. Now they are half the size and fall apart in less than a week. The scrubber becomes separated from the sponge with the cheap glue they use. I’m not buying these sponges anymore.

Scrub Layer Falls Off

3M has drastically changed the quality of their non-scratch sponges. The scrubber layer separates from the sponge almost immediately. Customer service complaint did not result in a remediation. Evidently 3M changed the adhesive. Their planned obsolescence bet was lost on this customer. I won't buy scrubbing sponges any longer. Period. I've moved on to a non-scratch dish brush easily sanitized in dishwasher or beach. Their lack of concern for the consumer experience has shifted my sense of their brand identity as a reliable company. I now wonder if their N95 masks have changed as well. So I have found another mask company that I trust. Trust broken with a faithful consumer.

Product is junk now !!

I agree with a recent post . I used to love these sponges ! But now chunks fall off in the first week of normal use . The last straw for me was when the whole scrub pad separated from the sponge on the second day . Too many rich companies cutting corners to make even more money . And making products smaller and charging more for them !! Fun it wouldn’t let me complete my review with a 0- never recommend for this sponge ?? So I had to choose 1 . Lol

Disappointing product

Very disappointed with this product. I have used these before and I don’t know if they have redesigned their product but these sponges separate from the scrubbing pad ever time I use them. I don’t know if I have a bad package but it’s happened with every sponge. If this is their new design I will have to find another product different product.

Hey 3M. Start reading your reviews. Your sponges USED to provide value. If you squeeze out the water after each use you could get months of use BECAUSE THEY WOULD REMAIN INTACT. This is no longer the case. Now, they fall apart and crumble away into the sink strainer. Obviously you have changed the formula so they fall apart so we have to buy them more often. Someone at 3M decided that we should only get 3 weeks of use out of each sponge (as per a response from 3M to another review) and no more. Well...manufactured obsolescence has come to this trusted product and I will never buy them again, as you now can no longer be trusted to provide value for the extra money you charged.
p.s. This review does not allow anyone to select a "Zero" rating on the "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend Scotch-Brite™ Brand to a friend or colleague?" Even, though Zero is an option!! If one selects zero, the system does not allow you to submit. The lowest one can select is "1". What are you guys up to here?

They suck now, much thinner and dont last. The quality is in the tank allng with everything else I buy.
