I wish that the product had more of a antibacterial formula. After three days and at a dry sink, the sponge will need to be steam cleaned. Another idea would be to make a product that can be washed in dishwasher safely.
I have purchased 3, 4-packs in the last 2 months (made in Canada). The reason I've purchased so many is because after only a couple of weeks, they get that sour/mildewy smell that sponges can get (and then your hands and any counters you wipe smell also). I have tried sanitizing (since they otherwise are in great shape), but that only works for about 2 days, then it's back to stink and I have to throw them out. My regular store doesn't stock any other non-scratch, or I'd buy something else!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used these sponges "forever" on everything in our kitchen, but as I am learning more about knives and knife sharpening I am concluding: Don't use the scrub side on knives. Only use the sponge side. When I made this change now my knives are staying sharper much longer. The scrub side does scratch knives, you can see this on the scrathed sides of your knife blades. And this also means that it is abrasive enough that it will dull the edge of your knife -- even if you aren't trying to dull your knife. So knifes equals sponge side only please! Clean up you knives before food dries on, but if it does, just soak your knives in water until the food softens up again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product and just went out to buy a couple more. I have a set of aluminum pans and did not get any scratches when I used it. My husband was so impressed that he used one to clean the rims on his motorcycle.
Love, Love, Love this sponge. It is the Scotch Bright Stay Clean non-Scratch Scrub sponge. It does stay clean and does not fall apart. This is the best sponge I have ever used.
What has happened to these sponges? I have been using them for years, and now, the last few packs I have purchased are releasing a blue dye!!!! I like to use them on all my bathroom surfaces: toilet, tub, shower, etc., but now I can't because when you wring it out, it turns the water blue and leaves a blue film all over everything! Why is this happening? PLEASE go back to whatever they were before! I can't use these sponges anymore!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. While the blue coloring is non-harmful we would not expect it to bleed from the sponge. Please connect with our team at 1.800.846.8887 M-F 8am-4:30pm CT so our team can gather some additional info and assist.
