Hard Plastic Pieces found embedded in Sponge

The sponge contains pieces of hard plastic pieces embedded in the sponge. While the pieces of plastic don't interfere with scrub side wipe sponge side will cause possible damage. Only one of the 3 pack contains the hard plastic pieces.

Disappointed.

I'm echoing other reviews: I've used these sponges for years and years and they were so reliable. But now the scrubbing layer comes off after its first use. I thought it was a fluke the first time it happened, but the second sponge did the same thing. I recently visited my mom and saw that she had the same sponges. I tested one out and the same thing happened. I'm so disappointed! I used to buy this sponge without a second thought - I simply trusted the quality. I'm sorry I can't say that anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dish wands sponges

I purchased a couple 2 pack dish wand sponges and I have gone to put a new one on and the sponge separates from the clip.

Very disappointed...

Just like the other not so good reviews, I also experienced the same, bought a pack of 21 non-scratch sponges at local wholesale store & after the third day you can feel texture changing, it starts to disintegrate, soapy water is actually blueish color. Very disappointed, not the same as before and the worse thing: I am stuck with so many left and the money spent on a substandard quality product.

What Happened?

I've been using these sponges for 10 years and never had issues. I've noticed recently that the scrubby layer starts to come apart from the sponge within a week of opening a new one. The sponge also starts to fall apart. I'm so disappointed. What happened? Why must a trusted brand change their manufacturing? To save money, I assume. But now you're losing loyal customers.

Quality Control, or Nefarious Business Practices

I've used these sponges for over 20 years. My mother uses these sponges. My grandmother (rest in peace) used these sponges. They USED to work (hence the family tradition). Now, they're half the thickness, half the quality, at the same price -- which means Scotch Brite (and 3M, etc.) gets the same profit while cutting their costs. Rather than degrading your product quality and hoping your customers won't notice, why not make a high quality product and stick to it? I bet we'd even pay a little more for it.

Incredible shrinking sponge

I've been buying these for many years...until now. I'll be buying other brands from now on. The sponge thickness has been cut in half to make a cheaper product. It feels like a dishrag instead of a sponge. Shame on you Scotch Brite!
