Legal sized mailing envelopes

Purchased these as I needed legal sized envelopes both for temporary transportation and storage of legal papers at home as well as for mailing purposes. This was all they had at the Staples store. They work fine for both purposes as long as there are not more than five or six pages placed in each envelope - anything more and they are not strong enough to keep them flat and they will bend. I often end up having to use the priority mail envelopes I get from the post office directly for all mailing purposes.

I find I use these more than the heavy packaging mailers. It gives me extra space that I need. When mailing they cost less since the envelope weighs less than what I was using previously.

Yhe envelopes have gone up in price and down in quality. I have purchased these several times and the last 2 or 3 times the bottoms aren't glued all the way to edge so I have to tape the bottoms shut and sometimes the center seamed isn't glued well so I have to tape it too. Disappointing beause it takes time to inspect them and tape all the places that aren't glued.
