Staples #6-3/4 EasyClose Security-Tint

The security of these envelopes as far as the tinting is adequate however the peel off label is not sticky enough. The ends of the envelope are not secured down as the pull off paper does not extend to the full length of the envelope closure. The pull off needs to cover the total top of the envelope and be made of a more substitive material. What I find I have to do is use tape each time I seal the envelope to ensure that it is secured properly. So while I'm paying more for the "convenience" of the pull off tape I'm paying even more on top of that because I have to use tape and it is another step for me in the process. That is a major issue with these types of envelopes that needs to be improved.

Easy Close no good

The EasyClose feature fails to stick together most of the time. It comes apart easily. We use Elmer's glue to make sure it sticks. I would never buy again.

Need to b built sturdier

I use these envelopes not just for mailing (as the are too small for ordinary mail) but most to put invoices of workers or announcements or coupons or stash cash or give cash to someone. I like the fact that they are not see through or thin but still believe they are not as sturdy and the could made them sturdier.

I have been using Staples envelopes for a number of years and find them doing what they should. I have occasionally gotten other brands which do not always seal up. Then I go for the glue stick.
