Satisfactory and particularly suited for letterpress printing

I purchased these specifically for use as return envelopes on a fundraising mailing that I was asked to handle. Not wanting to even think about getting some 60-odd #6 3/4 envelopes through my laser printer and knowing that they would be identical I opted to print them by letterpress. Because of the way these envelopes are built with a constant thickness in the address area they are ideal for letterpress printing as they would not require the complex makeready needed to compensate for the wild variations in thickness to be found in ordinary envelopes. As expected they were very easy to print by letterpress as easy as single sheets of paper.
