Business envelopes fit a folded piece of paper. These are shorter envelopes that fit a check but not a business letter.

I always understood "business size" envelope to describe the longer business size envelope. These are small....too small.

I like these envelopes as they are the right size for notes I write to friends and family. They are security so no one can see what I write. They close easy and they stay closed when you seal the envelope up.
