Staples EasyClose Safety Envelopes

A box of Staples Privacy Tint Envelopes is staple in any house when bills need to be mailed safely. I do use the Stales store brand since they are perfect for the job. The self-seal envelopes make it even easier to send.

Decent envelope with a critical flaw

The envelopes themselves are of good quality. The paper stock is sufficient for holding up well in the postal system. The security tinting printed on the inside is very effective and not even a hint of the contents are revealed. The only disappointment is that the adhesive used on the flap is not very reliable. 2 out 5 envelopes I sent arrived with the flap having popped open. They seem to have sealed securely so perhaps the cold weather causes it to be brittle or maybe I got a bad batch? Either way I will continue to use the remaining envelopes but I would recommend a small piece of tape as backup.

Safe secure small envelopes

I love this smaller standard size envelope. I use it to mail coupons to a relative. I use it to mail cut out newspaper clippings to family out of state. I use them to submit contest entries. It's the best all around envelope.

Easy and convenient

It's an envelope so there's not a lot of features here. It does exactly what it was designed to do. I got them for mailing out a lot of ham radio cards ("QSL cards") and they worked perfectly! They're durable and convenient and I will buy more when I run out. There were no jams running them through the inkjet printer. They work perfectly for SASE envelopes too. The adhesive strip saves you (and your recipient in the case of SASE's) from all that licking.
