PRICE???

I've always bought these because they were $8.99 a box and now they've almost doubled not sure I'll be purchasing these again. Also they do not seem as gummy as most are stating on here but maybe there's an improvement. I'm gonna recommend these to others because they do do the job intended just not to happy over the price increase....

Envelopes = hassle to closecheap/sturdy

These envelopes are so much less expensive than the ones with the peel-off adhesive close so go this route if you want to save money. If you have a stack of briefs to serve (or envelopes to send) it is a hassle using the lick-it (or sponge-it) adhesive and closing the clasp; plus I always tape over the closed clasp to ensure no-one or nothing gets scratched. But they are sturdy and work fine.

The Staples brand of 9" x 12" clasp envelopes is a great product. I was able to fit thick pages of 8.5" x 11" housing applications in them with no trouble. These envelopes are a great for business use as well as for personal use. They completely met my expectations. I can't say I was surprised by the fit or quality of the product. Staples brand products generally have always met my needs and I would without reservation recommend this product and their other products to anyone who asks.

There are some other envelopes of similar size that are slightly heavier. These were just right for my needs and the price was good

Best Brown Envelopes Ever

The Staples 9' x 12' Brown Kraft Envelopes in the 100 count box is the best buy that I could make when it comes to placing my clients tax returns receipts etc. in them. They can hold even the largest tax returns; both Federal and any state(s). The material they are constructed out of is strong yet able to bend and stretch enough to suit my needs for my business. They also hold up well when mailing to clients who live out of town. The gold color is a better choice than the white envelopes because it doesn't stain or show dirt as easily. Plus it contrasts well with the business labels or address stickers I attached to them. These are the most economical and convenient envelopes I have ever used. Much better that those expensive folders that I'm supposed to use to present the tax forms to my clients.
