The Staples® 9" x 12" Brown Kraft Clasp Envelopes are great to use for storing files for long periods of time. I use these for my research project for more than 5 years and they are still in pretty good shape.

Will Choose Something Else Next Time

The "heavily gummed" adhesive doesn't stick; I need to tape these envelopes to keep them shut. The metal clasp doesn't always line up with the punch holes in the envelope flap either. I was unaware when I purchased these that the postal service charges $.20 extra per envelope when those metal clasps are present and have to pull each one off now. Definitely go for a peel & stick envelope - this one is a pain in the neck.

Good for mailing

I used these to send out resumes so they wouldn't be bent. I have also used them to mail out small or thin paperback books. They work great for many purposes.
