The right envelope for storage of documents.

I purchase these so I can store my tax documents and other important papers they are the right size and they fit nicely into my file and cabinets. My only concern is using them to mail documents through the United States Postal Service. Wondering if they will cost extra postage due to there size.

Sometimes the envelope doesn't always seal securely. But it's great for storing tax documents bank statements etc. Overall good product.

As president of the local Sons of the American Revolution chapter I recently mailed 70 Eagle Scout Certificates that we awarded. A fraction of an ounce reduction in weight would have reduced the mailing cost by $0.17 each. The medal security clip appears to be unnecessary if the envelope is adhesively sealed. A better sealing design would eliminate this clip and the need to wet the adhesive by using the "peel and stick" technology.
