Bought these because the ones made of recycled materials are no longer available at our store. These work just the same are a little MORE expensive but hold anything I wanna mail. I always put packing tape on the bottom seam of the envelope to help secure the item I'm mailing The edges of the seams don't seem to be glued down at all so I worry about the integrety of theseal. On the other hand I cannot afford to pay much more for this size of envelope. Overall buy these plus the 8 pack of packing tape in the next aisle...

Have used Staples products for years. Large envelopes stay closed after sealing. In a recent visit to the service desk the associate was most helpful with a product question. During this time I experienced hypoglycemia and I was provided with sweets to ward off the attact. I am most grateful.

This is a no frills product. It is a sturdy brown envelope that works exactly as intended. We have had no problems with workmanship or durability. We buy these all the time.

Missing Clasps Bad Glue

I purchase about 100+ boxes of these a year. Overall they are a good deal well were but since they have doubled the price not so much. I have gotten many boxes where the glue is not properly applied to bottom flap so I must always reinforce with tape. I have also gotten boxes where the clasp was completely missing off more than 50% of them. I always tape the top closed so not too big of a deal but I can see where that would be a problem for others. Overall it's an envelope so not much to say. I will continue to buy these but I will always make sure to reinforce all seals and openings.
