I purchased this easel to replace one that had a broken brace. The previous model had plastic pieces which attached the brace to the metal legs. A friend trying to set it up snapped the plastic brace with little difficulty. I was glad to see that this replacement easel has replaced the plastic with metal -- so the easel will hopefully last longer.
