The reason I purchased this chairmat was to replace the identical chairmat my sister bought me 6 years ago I appreciate products that last so when it came time to replace the old chairmat it was a no brainer to order the same chairmat again.

The mat is too soft for plush carpet. The chair leaves ruts in the mat and the chair gets stuck in the rut.

The floormat from Staples came in just the size I wanted. It remains securely on the carpet. A month later it shows not the slightest sign of wear. I am very pleased. My only problem was understanding the item listing at Staples online site -- I had to call the store to clarify the features of the product.

Mat is very soft and wheels of the chair dig into the material. Not stiff like the other mats with a lip.
