This is the second one we have. We have two desks now so it was needed. Protects well.

I love these Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mats that Staples sells because they last a long time and they protect the carpet and make the chairs glide in back and forth from my desk much easier.

This floor mat changed my life. My general outlook has drastically improved now that I can roll my computer chair easily with the confines of said mat.

I am not completely happy with this product. The wheels on my desk chair leave deep indentations and that makes it difficult to move the chair. I previously had one of these mats when I was working and I remember it being somewhat thicker more like a tile of plastic. When I move the chair I have to get up off it and the dents remain in the plastic long after I have relocated the chair. Twice this thickness would maybe be better. This is too soft. I have this over a rug and feel it is not what I previously had in my work. I would only recommend this for placement on a hard surface.

Replaced carpet floor mat for home office. Got same item after 20+ years of abuse from desk chair casters!
