Too thin even for low pile carpet. Chair casters sink right in and leave ruts in the carpet. Might be good on hard wood or tile floors.

The mat is much too soft. The wheels on my chair make indentions in the mat and I can't roll my chair very easily. It also won't stay put on my carpet....keeps sliding around. I have to readjust every couple days.

measured the carpet pile to pick the correct mat. if I sit in the same spot for a few minutes the wheels cause a dimple in the matt. it takes a push to get the chair to move. the dimples come back to a flat surface but not easy to roll around on.
