I named my new mat "Scooter" because it scoots all over the floor!

Perfect size and seems tough enough to protect my hybrid vinyl floor that is on a concrete floor in my man cave/forced home office.. My problem is the mat scoots an inch or two every time I get up and walk away. This mat is textured on both sides.. If you are going to buy one of these mats search more for one that has a smooth side to grip the smooth floor and a textured side to look and feel good from the top. My mistake but I am going to keep it and perhaps find some double-sided clear tape to hold it in place.. Shipping was very fast!
I bought this mat hoping the wheels on my desk chair would roll on the carpet with this mat on it. Did NOT happen mat is too thin should have bought a solid one. Better luck next time
The mat does the job. After I watched my wife struggle with a straight-backed chair to provide her with a small office I lent her my roll-about chair and mat I had bought at Staples a couple of years ago. She like both so well that we returned to Staples and bought another chair and mat. She likes both and finds the chair to be more comfortable and the mat to permit ease of movement.
I'm 180 lbs sit on a standard 5-leg office chair. Mat sits on a 1/4" deep wall to wall rug.Sitting still 15 minutes at desk leaves a dimple under front wheels that's difficule to roll out of. Totally unsatisfactory. I have already ordered a replacement(tempered glass). It's like the plastic wasn't cured. My previous mat was thinner and totally satisfactory but too small(3x4)- kept rolling of the edges. This one is almost 50% thicker(0.1 vs 0.145) but much less supportive. I was suprised - and dissappointed.
