Bought one of these about 7 years ago. STILL SOLID!! So...I just bought a second one for another chair. This is a GREAT mat! Chairs roll well. Doesn't crack. What more does one need!

I liked the cost of this item but it doesn't go well with any type of thicker carpet. The plastic is not stiff enough and it forms divots that your chair gets stuck in. Would not recommend.

I should have bought one for a higher pile carpet even though I consider my carpet low pile

I'm sure this chair mat is fine for super low pile carpet but I guess my carpet is thicker. The wheels of my chair are making sloped indentations in the mat causing the chair to get a little stuck in place. I think if I had a mat intended for thicker carpet the nubby plastic spikes on the bottom would be longer and wouldn't allow the chair to cause such deep indentations in the mat.

the mat indents under the wheels when sitting on it. The mat is supposed to be for slightly higher carpet levels - I had assumed that it would be firmer and not make "sink-holes" under the wheels. I would suggest finding a harder mat.
