When shipped they didnt cover it or even roll it up. Was all bent and kinked when I got it. Seemed to flatten out in a day or two. Could be a little thicker but overall good.

I had a old one it was very heavy and too much for the carpet. This one is easy to use feel good. But I have not had this mat long enough to have tested its longevity.
