I would not buy this product in the future. The plastic starts to indent where the wheels of your chair are and thus create molded indentations that the chair gravitates to. I needed a pad that would NOT do this. I'm going glass next time.
An office chair with five casters moves much better with the vinyl mat on top of the carpet. The price was economical but a more expensive solid mat would work even better.
Leaves divots holding 170 pound guy but for the price...

Bought a chair with this mat and found I'd get stuck in the divots it leaves. Was on apartment carpeting so I put down Masonite panels below. Made no difference. For the price it's passable.
