Had this mat for a month now and edges still an inch off the floor. We followed the instructions as listed but you’ll still stun your toe on it if not watching out. Never had this issue with the old one.

I bought this chair mat for a Berber carpet. It does NOT work immediately there were indentations making it difficult to move chair back and forth. I think the old indoor-outdoor rubber-backed carpet is the suitable "carpet". It has studs so shouldn't be used on bare floors. Be sure to check your carpet depth before selecting a chair mat! I am ordering another mat and will have to figure out a use for this one.

Pros: No smells stays in place fast delivery good value for the price and quality-I think? Cons: Already leaving indentations after one week of use question. Using Staples $375. 00 chair on it-already rolls back to indentations in floor mat on Berber carpeting-wonder how long before I have holes or cracks?

I bought the least expensive chair mat knowing we intended to switch from carpet to a hardwood floor in my office so I knew I would need to replace this mat at some point down the line. I like the mat that I purchased but the only minor complaint is that sometimes it shows indentations from the wheels on my chair on the mat. Other than that I'm very happy with the mat.
