I've been working from home since March 2020 and this mat was a couple of years old at that time so I believe I got my money's worth and bought another one. It's just big enough to allow free movement without rolling off the edge and it is soft enough to be quiet.

works as advertised. It flattened immediately and didn't have any weird off-gassing smells. Scoots around a little on the hardwood floor over the course of a full work day but I think that's to be expected and not so much that I find myself having to fix it more than once every few days.

For the price this is an OK purchase. Delivered on time (within days) and I like the beveled edges which makes it easier to roll my chair from the mat to the carpet. I also like that the studs on the bottom of the mat were rounded so they were easy to handle. Those are the pros. The con is that the mat had indentations after only one day of use.

This mat won't unroll and was rolled up with the carpet spikes on the outside. So I ripped my hand open trying to just unroll it and now a week later it still won't lay flat. Put a heat gun to it today to try to get it to lay flat with little luck. More than likely I will have replace it and just throw this one away.
